Blast From the Past

Tonight Ella performed for the East High Men's basketball halftime with the "Little Leopards" cheer squad.
It was a huge group of little girls doing some cheers and a dance they had practiced all week long. She had so much fun and didn't want it to end.
As we walked into the school and sat down for the game I started having all of these strange emotions and memories flood over me. I am OLD and things have changed quite a bit at EHS but there were still a lot of things that hadn't. I saw my basketball coach, JoAnn Orr, and Coach Marguets. I watched the girls basketball team get killed and I remembered running plays on that same court. I saw the different groups of kids and who was interacting with who. What a night! So fun and I am excited for my kids to experience high school and at the same time I don't want them to experience it at all. What a crazy place. Fasten your seatbelts!!!
